A guest cook takes the oven for the evening and writes the menu on the wall.
On the first Thursday of the month somebody else cooks. It might be a baker from Porto, a grill cook from the Alentejo, or Rui’s mother. They get the oven, we do the washing up.
How it works
The menu is written on the wall that afternoon and is the same for everyone. Wine is poured to match, and is included.

Every Sunday, from 13:00
Sunday long lunch
One sitting, one long table, whatever came off the boat that morning. Children eat for nothing.
